SCIFTO’s mobility platform is designed to make accessing the vehicle both safe and convenient. Unlike other solutions, we prioritize the center of gravity stability above all else to ensure that the system’s adjustable features do not compromise user safety.
The ergonomics of boarding and alighting are critical for mobility devices, especially in environments such as public facilities, healthcare settings, and personal use. SCIFTO’s design ensures that users can safely enter and exit the vehicle with ease, all while maintaining optimal balance.

Adjustable Armrests and Controller for Ergonomic Boarding
One of the key features in SCIFTO’s design is the adjustable armrests and control system that facilitate ease of boarding and alighting. By pressing the armrest angle switch, users can rotate the armrests 15 degrees forward, effectively clearing the entry space for easier access.
Additionally, the control system’s height can be lowered, allowing users to position the seat under office desks and seamlessly transition between sitting on the platform and using a desk. This functionality ensures that SCIFTO mobility platforms are ideal for work environments and medical settings, where users need to move freely between tasks.

Footplate Design for Safe and Efficient Boarding
The design of the footplates is crucial in ensuring both safety and comfort when users board or alight. SCIFTO’s footplates are adjustable and can rotate up to 100°, allowing users to approach the vehicle from the front rather than the side. This design reduces the need for awkward positioning and minimizes strain on the user’s body.
Furthermore, the footplates are designed to maintain adequate ground clearance, ensuring that users can safely step on or off the mobility platform, even in public environments where surfaces may be uneven.
